Additional Safari to Zanzibar and Bagamoyo is optional for both honeymooners and family members with respect to this package. Tanzania accommodations are available for both the parents and the children with rooms allowing interaction between parents and children.
This package has been proposed to meet most of our clients wishing to visit the Northern Tanzania Tour destinations for historic Africa safari. The tour provides unique opportunity to visit Arusha, Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater – a natural sanctuary for animals and the world’s greatest natural spectacle whose magical setting has thrilled visitors.These parks are located near to each other hence its easy to access them during the proposed duration.
This tour will take to meet the Hazabe Dotoza Bushmen and also visit Olduvai Gorge where late in 1959 Dr. Louis Leakey and his wife Mary discovered the skull of the first “Zinjanthropus Boisei” and then a year later they discovered the remains of Homo Hablis regarded as mankind’s first step on the ladder of human evolution.
Itinerary: 17 Days & 16 Nights
Day 1: Transfer from Airport – JRO or Namanga Border
Day 2: Getting to know Arusha – the hub of Tourism in Africa
After breakfast start drive to Arusha National Park for a game drive. In the afternoon enjoy walking safari around Arusha town streets including markets, shopping areas after getting your lunch followed by dinner and overnight at booked Lodge/Hotel. The walking safari will include visiting to a local gamestone market where deals are done openly at public.
Having fresh memories, after breakfast start your safari around 09:00HRS to Tarangire National Park – the home of elephants. Check in at Tarangire Safari Lodge where you will spend your night and dinner. This lodge is optional. After lunch relax a bit and later start afternoon a game drive. Hope you will enjoy sunset viewing while some nice photos. Return to the lodge getting ready for day four program.
Day 4: Full Day Tarangire Game Drive
After breakfast start your great full day game drive in the park. Enjoy meeting with herds of elephants, buffalos, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and Elands, leopards can be seen all through the year. In the afternoon stop for picnic lunch boxes and later continue exploring the park. Dinner and overnight Tarangire Safari Lodge (Optional).
After breakfast enjoy a close up – game drive and lunch before setting off for Lake Manyara National Park, which hugs the Great Rift Valley. Again dinner and overnight will be served at Lake Manyara Hotel.
Day 6: Lake Manyara – Lake Eyasi
Today is a little different and you will have to enjoy another tour taste! Drive to Lake Eyasi where you will have a unique insight into the traditions, culture and lifestyle of the local Bushmen – the Hadzabe and Datoga people. A beautiful homestead that has opened its doors to visitors – a great opportunity to see another side of life in Africa. Dinner and overnight at Gibbs Farm
Day 7: Serengeti National Park
Day 8: Full Day Game drive in Serengeti
After breakfast set off on a full day game drive with packed lunches in the world’s most famous National Park. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife lodge.
Day 9: Lobo visit in Serengeti
Day 10: Seronera Visit
Today is set aside specifically to explore the Seronera area.
Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Safari lodge.
Day 11: Lobo deep safari
Before breakfast in the cool of the morning further explore the Lobo area, with a second game drive after lunch. Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Safari lodge.
Day 12: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast game drive in different territory within the Serengeti with picnic Lunch boxes ‘en board.’ Explore Olduvai Gorge before heading towards Ngorongoro crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater lodge.
Day 13: Ngorongoro Crater Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast start your full day game drive in the Crater. There is plenty to see and explore on the crater floor. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater lodge.
Day 14: Walking Safari in Ngorongoro Crater
The day is dedicated to a walking tour in the Ngorongoro Highlands and a cultural tour to a local Maasai Manyatta (homestead). Dinner and overnight at Kirurumu Tented Lodge.
Day 15: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara
Day 17: From Hotel/Lodge – JRO/Namanga Border
Transfer from the Hotel/lodge to international airport, shuttle bus terminal or border.
