Leave Arusha in the morning and proceed to Ngorongoro arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon enjoy game drive here you can see a spectacular concentration of wildlife, including the big five. The tour shall be followed by dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast leave with picnic lunch for Lake Manyara tour. Enjoy afternoon game drive before returning for dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena.

Day 3: Arusha
Early in the morning take your fabulous breakfast then drive back to Arusha arriving for lunch. In the evening transfer to the Airport.

Northern Tanzania Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and then transfer to Arusha for your tour briefing, Dinner and overnight at Mount Meru hotel.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Start your northern Tanzania safari by heading to Lake Manyara. Stop for lunch at the Hotel and later in the afternoon start game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, with the possibility of sighting the famous tree-climbing lions. Here you can see a variety of habitats and diverse animals and birds. Witness the large flock of flamingoes descending on Lake Manyara. After this memorable game drive return for dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Hotel.

Day 3: Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park
Enjoy your delicious breakfast then get prepared to depart for Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival relax get your lunch at Serengeti Serena Lodge. Later in the afternoon start a game drive of Serengeti National Park. In the evening return in your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast, full day game drive in Serengeti (with picnic lunch). Here can be found the largest concentration of plain animals – about 4 million and 500 species of birds. Expect to see predators chasing their prey and enjoying their kill, and the scenery is spectacular. Make sure you have your camera with you. Later in the evening return for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Hotel.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
Refreshed start your fifth day with breakfast, then go for morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. After lunch, depart for Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge, site of archeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered. Be served with dinner and overnight in Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
After breakfast, full day tour of Ngorongoro Crater. Here you can see a spectacular concentration of wildlife, including the big five. Drive across the dense forest and near the soda lake and enjoy viewing a variety of bird life. Ascend to the lodge from the 2,000ft. What amazing deep crater. Enjoy your picnic lunch on the way. Later enjoy your dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena lodge.

Day 7: Karatu – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. You will be served with lunch at a Tarangire Lodge, then in the afternoon enjoy another game drive of Tarangire National Park. During the dry season, Tarangire is spectacular in its concentration of wildlife. Many of the migratory species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River, from which the park derives its name. Large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants and elands. Having enjoyed watching flocks of animals you are now ready for dinner and overnight in Tarangire Sopa Lodges

Day 8: Tarangire National Park – Arusha Town
After breakfast, and proceed with the last day of our northern Tanzania safari by enjoying the sunrise followed by short game drive of Tarangire National Park then depart for Arusha. You be served your lunch in Arusha.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National – Serengeti

After fabulous breakfast start day 2 Game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Here you can see a variety of habitats and diverse animals and birds. Witness the large flock of flamingoes descending on the Lake Manyara. After lunch drive to Seronera for dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge.

Day 3: Full Day Serengeti Game Drive

Lunch at the Lodge, afternoon leisure, dinner and overnight at Crater or Wildlife Lodge situated on the rim of the crater.

Day 5: Full Day Ngorongoro Tour

After breakfast, have a full day tour of Ngorongoro crater, here you can see a spectacular concentration of wildlife, including the big five. Drive across the dense forest and near the soda lake and enjoy viewing a variety of birdlife. After taking your breakfast start the join group safari by heading to Lake Manyara National Park. You will be served with picnic lunch while enjoying game drive. Dinner and overnight at Jambo Campsite or other campsite of the same standard.

Day 2: Full day Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast, departs to Ngorongoro Conservation area for a full day crater tour. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest whole volcanic caldera with an area of 8300 square km and is arguably the most stunning arena. It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence, but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s largest populations of large mammals. Late afternoon drive back to Jambo campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire

Today after breakfast the join group safari will be heading to Tarangire National Park for game drive and later picnic lunch. This park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands and Oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rain when they migrate again to good grazing areas. Afternoon leave Tarangire for Arusha.
