Ngorongoro crater the world largest unbroken caldera is famously known for its high concentration of predators while Tarangire featured the large population of Elephants and famously now for the tree climbing pythons.
Tarangire National Park is famous for the highest animal concentrations during the dry season. During this session expect to view flocks of elephants, buffalos, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and Elands, leopards. Some of these animals can be seen throughout the year.
Itinerary 3 Days & 2 Nights
Day 1: Tarangire National park.
Leave Arusha at 0700 hrs am for Tarangire National Park. Drive to the park for the Game viewing. Discover the wildlife of this park like the famous Serengeti, where the rarely see gerenuk browse on the thorn trees, Oryx, greater and lesser kudu, eland plus the big five with the exceptional of rhino will be seen. Picnic lunch afternoon game drive then leave for mto wa Mbu to Jambo campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
After an Early breakfast a 4-wheel drive vehicle will take you 670 m. (2,000 ft) down to the crater floor for your half day game viewing. Known as “AFRICA’S GARDEN OF EDEN” these 160 sq. km. of plains, wooded slopes and small lakes, offer you a wide variety of game, including eland, gazelle and other small game on the plain and the “BIG FIVE”, closer to the wooded slopes and waterholes.
The lake shores are largely occupied by lesser flamingoes as well hippos. Picnic lunch then drive on the rim of the crater to Simba campsite. The rest of the day you may stay at leisure in the camp enjoying the panoramic view of the crater or go for a Maasai boma tour. Dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite.
Day 3: Ngorongoro – Arusha
An extra charge of US $ 180 will be charged if you will enquire us to reserve for your accommodation in Arusha and arrange for two ways transfer to Kilimanjaro international airport.
