Five days tour of the most magnificent Southern Tanzania game sanctuaries the Mikumi and Selous Game reserve. The Selous is a magical place and simply sitting in front of your tent you are able to watch the endless procession of birds and animals throughout the day.
Selous Game reserve contains a wide variety of different ecosystems: the wide meandering river, with its lakes and swamplands interlaced with a myriad of channels, ‘terminalia’ woodland and open plains.
This spectacular setting of the reserve made it to become the home of some of Africa’s largest populations of remaining wildlife. While Mikumi National Park remains to be the haven for the Crocodile, Elephants, Lions, Wild dogs, Zebras, Hyenas, Buffalos, Wildebeest, Eland, Hartebeest, Lizard and other residents plus over 300 species of birds.
These two parks offer one of the best African safaris experience on boat, open safari vehicle and on foot.
