Mikumi Safari Itinerary – 3Days & 2 Night
Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park
Pick up from your hotel, resident or airport in Dar Es Salaam around 08:30hrs in the morning and travel about 283km to Mikumi National Park where you will arrive in time for lunch. Late after lunch to sunset enjoy game drives in the park a home to Elephant, Lion, Wild dog, Zebras, Hyena, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Eland, Hartebeest, Crocodile, Lizard and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park. You will have dinner and overnight at Vuma Hill Tented Camp/ Kikoboga Tented Camp/ or budget at Motel.
Day 2: Full day in Mikumi National Park
Take your breakfast followed by Amazing Sunrise game Drive in the morning visiting Chamgore, and Mkata Food Plains and later have your lunch at Mikumi Wildlife Camp. Again proceed with afternoon game drives in Mikumi National Park till sunset. You will have dinner and overnight at Vuma Hill Tented Camp/ Kikoboga Tented Camp/ or budget at Motel.
Day 3: Mikumi – Dar es Salaam
Wake up at 0600hrs for early morning game drives where you will be able to view Sunrise while in Mikumi National Park. Take some nice photos and then return back to the lodge or camp for breakfast around 0845hrs. After breakfast check out and drive while sporting game enroute back to Dar es salaam where you will arrive in the early afternoon.
